Day 1 - Arrival in Sydney
Mumbai tour guests will report at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai as per the scheduled flight departure time. Tour Host will greet all guests at the airport.
Once Tour reaches Sydney Airport, you will have to check-out of terminal with your baggage. Australian Tour guide will welcome all guests at the terminal gate and will invite you for the breakfast. Grab your break-fast and then visit Darling Harbour, a buzzing waterside precinct hosting lots of entertainment, fun activities and international cuisines. Visit the famous SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium and experience the iconic wonders of the marine life variety. We will have our luch and reach to the famous Bondi beach. Explore the beach and area around spend some time in nearby shopping arena take a tea break and then let’s visit iconic Sydney Tower.
Day 2 - Sydney CBD
Today we will start our day by visiting natural flora and fauna at the Royal Botanic Garden, next stop the Sydney Opera House (SOH), another great iconic place in Sydney with beautiful architecture and amazing history. Weather permitting soak up your soul in fresh air laden atmosphere and enjoy splendid views of the Harbour Bridge, the SOH and the Harbour. If interested, book an evening Opera show (not included in itinerary) a lifetime opportunity to listen Opera in the world-famous UNESCO listed Heritage property, the SOH. We will then move to visit Syeney Wild life Zoo. Explore more at the darling harbour enjoy dinner and head back to the hotel for sweet dreams.
Day 3 - The Blue Mountains
We will finish our break-fast bit early today and proceed to the beautiful blue mountains. It is known for dramatic scenery. It encompasses steep cliffs, forests, caves, waterfalls, wild flora and fauna. But first lets’ visit the Scenic World near Katoomba. Area is so vast and varied that Honeymoon Lookout, Echo Point (3 sisters), Scenic Skyway and Katoomba falls all awaiting to give you memorable experience. I am sure you will end day with hearty dinner.
Day 4 - Canberra / Albury
Let us check out from Hotel and our first stop today will be Cockington Greens Garden. Doug and Brenda Sarah started with a concept of creating miniature village in 1972 with a big heart to bring inspiration and entertainment to the public and Cockington Green was opened in 1979. It is a park of miniatures with international section that features replicas of famous buildings from around the world. Next stop, The Royal Australian Mint, the sole producer of all of Australia's coins. Canberra is capital of Australia, so how can our tour be completed without a visit to The Parliament of Australia showcasing art, architecture, and indigenous experiences of Australian Democracy. And finally, we will reach at the Australian War Memorial, a combination of shrine, a world-class museum, and an extensive archive. We will a ttend the Last Post Ceremony and leave for Albury for overnight stay.
Day 5 - Melbourne
Today after our Albury Hotel check-out we are now moving further south to visit yet another beautiful and capital city of Victoria State, Melbourne.
Once we touch cultural capital, we will straight head to the beautiful beach St Kilda. It is the most popular beach in Victoria or Melbourne...hope for a good day when the sun is shining and when the sky is super clear....the water feels like a mirror… Post light lunch we proceed to meet our little friends at Phillip Island. On the way we will stop at the famous chocolate factory and window shop various chocolate products. If lucky we may tour the small chocolate factory no guarantee though.
Yet another best experience is about to unfold for the day. Penguin Parade, yes, see little penguins returning to their family homes after exhausting day in sea. Not just kids anyone who has eye for nature will enjoy the arrival of penguins. Do carry a good jacket with a hood. Strictly no photos are allowed after sunset as camera flashes can harm penguins' eyes which are sensitive to blue light. Once you meet cute little friends it’s time to go back and again hit sweet dream night.
Day 6 - Great Ocean Road
Today we will finish our break-fast little early and head to the Great Ocean Road. Leaving Melbourne, we’ll stop off at a popular coastal town on the Great Ocean Road. We visit the historic Memorial Arch to get our photo taken before passing through the quaint coastal resort towns of Lorne and Wye River. Count koalas you can spot and enjoy spending time with some of Australia’s native parrots, lorikeets and even kookaburras, with a coastal walk. Next, we head to the picturesque Apollo Bay where we will have lunch. Post lunch we will enjoy a guided walk through the Otway Rainforest where we will see plush tree ferns and some of the tallest trees in Australia. We then pass through Port Campbell National Park to arrive at the Shipwreck Coast followed by Loch Ard Gorge. View the Archway, The Razorback and Dumpling Pots and hear the tragic tales of the Shipwreck Coast.
Then, we arrive at the climax of the Great Ocean Road Tour – the world famous 12 Apostles. Walk out to the lookouts for spectacular views and photo opportunities of one of Australia’s most iconic attractions. We will have our dinner and good night sleep
Day 7 - Melbourne CBD
Today we will take Melbourne CBD tour starting with the treasure of Cricket the Melbourne Cricket Ground or MCG or locally known as “The G”. The G has witnessed cricket since 1854 and noted many world records not just in cricket but other sports as well. State Library of Victoria would be our next stop. There are so many museums around, we will ride city circle tram and visit few more places.
Post early dinner we will head to the Melbourne International airport for journey to Auckland city we will be taking early arriving flight to Auckland. We will clear baggage and customs at Auckland airport and head straight to our Hotel for tight sleep.
Day 8 - Hamilton / Rotorua
We will start bit late today and (after break-fast and post check-out) visit the beautiful Hamilton Gardens. A series of gardens, inspired from interesting time periods, and cleverly interconnected in such a way that they are hidden until you walk-in. A jewel of gardens as many call it.
Our next stop is yet another natural beauty, waitomo glow worm caves. It is quite an amazing sight inside the glow worm caves! First part of the tour, you learn about the limestone formation; second part of the tour is a roughly 10-min boat ride during which you see the glow worms. To avoid scaring the glow worms, you are not allowed to take pictures inside the cave. These glow worms are unique to New Zealand.
After spectacular experience, we will now head for Rotorua.
Day 9 - Rotorua
After breakfast we will straight head for Whakarewarewa Māori culture village, self-guided tour. We have to just hope that weather conditions are good. You will enjoy today Geothermal Trails followed by guided tour of the living village and cultural performance.
We will end today bit early head back for Tea in Central Rotorua and post early dinner we will visit Polynesian Spa area. Spa activity availale at extra cost else one can relax in the Hotel. Night life in Central Rotorua is very lively and vibrant so that’s another option to explore.
Day 10 - Christchurch CBD
Today we will finish our break-fast and straight head to the Christchurch Museum with over 2.3 million items in their treasure. The Canterbury Museum in Christchurch was one of favourite tourist places to visit, beautiful old building, very well preserved and looked after. Next stop is Christchurch Botanical Gardens (CBG). CBG is an amazing place for a walk any time of year. Beautifully curated with many different zones for different plants. Each of the tropical houses or fern houses are a must see with the range of colourful flowers and plants. Time for Lunch
Next stop is Air Force Museum, followed by Christchurch Gondola and Tram ride. Once we have discovered Christchurch City and clicked few photos, we will call it a day.
Day 11 - Lake Tekapo / Lake Wanaka
Today we will start from Christchurch after our break-fast and around noon we reach Lake Tekapo. Lake Tekapo is known for its beautiful water-colour as well as its proximity and access to the Southern Alps. The town is close to Mount Cook National Park and home to lots of great attractions. After our quick lunch we will head towards Wanaka, another mid drive. Let’s call it a coffee break and then after roaming around we will head to our final destination the adventure capital of New Zealand, the Queenstown. Let’s get early dinner and hit the bed.
Day 12 - Milford Sound
Today morning we will rise and shine early and after break-fast we will head to Milford Sound, a fiord in the southwest of New Zealand’s South Island. One of the most beautiful places on earth. If it’s sunny that’s great. If it rained, then it’s even better as the entire fiord get waterfalls coming down from everywhere. It is known for towering Mitre Peak, plus rainforests and waterfalls like Stirling and Bowen falls, which plummet down its sheer sides.
Day 13 - Queenstown
How can we complete our tour without any adventure. We will ensure that with safe and sound policy lets venture some adventure in us. We will enjoy 2 adventure rides (Jet boat / Gondola / Luge ride). After lunch we will straight head for flight to Auckland with late night arrival to Capital City.
Day 14 - Auckland CBD
Today is the last day of our Tour. We will explore Auckland CBD and visit Auckland Art Gallary, Maungakiekie, Sylvia Park shopping centre, Long island beach, North Head Historic Reserve, Britomart, Auckland War Museum, Mt Eden, Cornwall Park etc. Post dinner we will head to Auckland International Aiport for flight to Mumbai, to share your memorable journey and experience with your friends and relatives. Your tour concludes.
