Day 1 - Arrival in Auckland
Mumbai tour guests will report at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai as per the scheduled flight departure time. Tour Host will greet all guests at the airport.
Once Tour reaches Auckland Airport, you will have to check-out of terminal with your baggage. New Zealand Tour guide will welcome all guests at the terminal gate and take you to the Hotel. Please relax with a glass of hot choc and sleep tight.
Day 2 - Hamilton
We will finish our break-fast bit early today and proceed to the beautiful Hamilton Garden. A series of gardens, inspired from interesting time periods, and cleverly interconnected in such a way that they are hidden until you walk in. A jewel of garden as many calls it.
Our next stop is yet another natural beauty, waitomo glow worm caves. It is quite an amazing sight inside the glow worm caves! First part of the tour, you learn about the limestone formation; second part of the tour is a roughly 10-min boat ride during which you see the glow worms. To avoid scaring the glow worms, you are not allowed to take pictures inside the cave. These glow worms are unique to New Zealand.
Last stop for the day is Rotorua, we will check in at the Hotel and then will proceed for dinner. Night life in Central Rotorua is very lively and vibrant. We will soak ourselves in that environment and then return to our hotel.
Day 3 - Rotorua
After breakfast we will straight head for Whakarewarewa Māori culture village, self-guided tour. We have to just hope that weather conditions are good. You will enjoy today Geothermal Trails followed by guided tour of the living village and cultural performance.
We will end today bit early head back for Tea in Central Rotorua, we will then visit Kuirau Park. Several walkways will take us through the park to see the crater lake, mud pools, hot springs, and a free thermal foot bath, all set in a beautifully manicured setting dotted with flower beds and native flora.
Next activity is dinner followed by heavenly night sleep.
Day 4 - Taupo
Today we will finish breakfast bit early and head for most beautiful city of lakes and falls. We will first visit Huka falls, a real cute but giant fall with bright colours. The fall is fantastic with many spectacular viewpoints. The water there is also amazing with distinguish colour of emerald. It is amazing spot for capturing pictures and rafting. We will then visit Huka honey hive, a store with variety of honey and some educational material about honeybees and honey.
Post lunch, we will then take a tour of Lake Taupo. It is a nice way to see more of the beautiful Lake Taupo and its surroundings in a short time. The rock carvings are truly beautiful.
We will head back to Rotorua, stroll around Central Rotorua and then post quick dinner we will check back in the Hotel. A walking tour will be organised for those who wish to enjoy spa activity in Polynesia spa. Please note, spa sessions fees are not included in your tour cost. You can enjoy spa or instead relax in the Hotel preparing for another day.
Day 5 - Rotorua
Today we have requested all guests not to take bath in the morning. You can have break-fast and then head to Wai-o-tapu thermal wonderland. One of the best Geo Thermal Parks in NZ. So many interesting pools and rock formations. The trails are good and the surrounding views are fabulous. Lots of good information along the track that explains the formations and mineral composition.
And finally, our last stop today is Tikiteri (where one can enjoy most relaxing, beautiful, interesting experiences in Rotorua. The mud bath is something different and fun to try, but be warned...the smell of sulphur is almost impossible to get out of clothes, so don't wear your favorite swimsuit as it may be ruined after a visit here! They also warn you not to rub your eyes during your visit as the sulphur can cause them to sting, and they are not wrong! Fortunately, eye drops are available if you need them. This is optional activity for those who would not mind changing in public shared area. If you are concerned with privacy then change in toilets. Let’s get back to Hotel for quick
HOT TIP: remove all jewellery before getting into the mud bath as it will tarnish badly!! Also, throw away your swimmers as you'll never get the sulphur smell out!!

Day 6 - Christchurch
Today we will finish our break-fast early and straight head to Rotorua Airport for Christchurch.
After arrival we will straight head for lunch and then visit Air Force Museum followed by Canterbury Museum. Air force museum is a full package of emotions, volumes of faith, stories of service and sacrifices and memories of loved ones. After learning about history and sentiments of the Air force we will then visit Canterbury museum. Although Museum is clsoed for renovation the pop-up exhibition is must to visit. Next stop will be Chirstchurch Botanical Garden (CBG). Its is like a COLOURFUL carpet display of different range of flowers. There lots of birdsong and gorgeous flowers all year round. CBG is an amazing place for a walk any time of year. Beautifully curated with many different zones for different plants. Each of the tropical houses or fern houses are a must see with the range of colourful flowers and plants.
Post dinner we will check in at the Hotel and rest for the day.
Day 7 - Christchurch CBD
We will start our day with giant break-fast. I am right, have a heavy breakfast as we are visiting today The Giant’s house. What a beautiful, lovely place to visit full of art works, flowers and nicely laid out landscapes. The garden had very clearly been a labour of love for the artist, who had turned a functional fruit and vegetable garden into a gorgeous spectacle of colour and wonder. This is an absolute treasure and well worth of travel. We will finish Lunch and head back to Christchurch CBD.
In CBD, we will now take ride of Gondola. What's not to like! Amazing views going all the way up in the Gondola. The breathtaking views of Christchurch will force you to capture as much as you can in your camera. Once we are back to starting point we will stroll around city and possibly take a tram ride. Finish our dinner and end day but early as we have start really early tomorrow.
Day 8 - Greymouth
Today we will take a Tranz Alpine train. Travelling west crossing the Canterbury Plains, the train slowly ascends through spectacular gorges and river valleys of the Waimakariri River towards the Southern Alps. Passing through Hills and rivers with twists and turns the scenery around full of pictures like movie sets revolving around. Hills give way to more mountains, liberally hung with mist. Train reaches to the alpine village of Arthurs Pass for a short break before descending through the Otira Tunnel to the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island, to Greymouth - a gateway to Punakaiki and the popular sites Franz Josef and Fox Glacier.
At Greymouth we will take lunch and straight away head for Fox Glaciers / Franz Josef. Both the Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers are natural wonders and each one is worth taking some time to explore. However, if you choose to explore the glaciers, don't leave the West Coast without taking at least one unforgettable memory with you. This is your chance to take a gentle stroll and be inspired! Even when it is teeming with rain, the Glacier Valley is still a place of isolation, wonderment and awe.
Day 9 - Franz Josef / Fox Glaciers / Queenstown
With memorable walks and wanders in Franz Josef / Fox Glaciers we will reach Wanaka then Queenstown, the adventure capital of New Zealand. Wanaka, a lively town buzzing with a carefree spirit. This is the place where nature meets sentiments. Explore wanaka with open arms and hug mother nature. We will take our lunch here and then move on for high tea at Patagonia Choc café in Queenstown. We will take evening stroll around Mall and then post dinner head for our Hotel.
Day 10 - Queenstown
Today we will check out from the hotel and will visit yet another close by village Glenorchy. A small settlement at the northen part of Lake Wakatipu. The spectacular landscape has provided prime spots for various films. Try and fill-in as much beauty as much you can in your eyes so that you can still dream all those locations even at sleep relaxing your brain utmost. We will take our lunch and then head to Time Time Tripper in Queensland. Essentially a small theater which is submerged in the water that tells you Queenstowns history, the first settlers and animals around here. It covers info about how “lake Wakatipu” was formed.
Next stop will be Te Anau lake. We are visiting yet another lake. Te Anau is small town en-route Milford sound. We will stay overnight in Te Anau and then move tomorrow to the Milford Sound.
Day 11 - Milford Sound
Today we will visit Milford Sound, it is a fiord in the southwest of New Zealand’s South Island. It is known for towering Mitre Peak, plus rainforests and waterfalls like Stirling and Bowen falls, which plummet down its sheer sides. The fiord is home to fur seal colonies, penguins and dolphins.
One of the most beautiful places on earth. If it’s sunny that’s great. If it rained, then it’s even better as the entire fiord get waterfalls coming down from everywhere.
Day 12 - Queenstown
Today is our last day in adventure capital. How can we end our trip without any adventure. We will start our day with CBD Tour and some adventure sports. Luge ride and Gondola will be on Top of the list. Once exhausted we will head for lunch.
Queenstown is essentially known as city of lakes but it also has beautiful Garden. It has well established rose gardens of many varieties. Very well maintained and picture perfect in places. History monuments of Antarctic exploration and main persons in the early 1900s. New playground for kids and nice path surrounding the gardens and waterfront. Frisby Golf is amongst the trees and a great view of the mountains.
We will visit Garden, lakes and then back to the hotel to compose ourselves for tomorrow.
Day 13 - Queenstown / Auckland
We will check out of Hotel and head to the Queenstown Airport for Auckland CBD. Auckland CBD is the city with lot of places to wander and visit. We will try and cover as many places as possible today before we head to airport. Your tour concludes today.
